Desktop Client Orchestration

The desktop client bridges local devices, certificates, and execution paths that are not directly reachable from a backend service.

What the desktop client does

  • Connects local signing devices.
  • Discovers QES certificates.
  • Executes local signing operations.
  • Runs diagnostics.
  • Sends operational state back to the platform.

Customer-facing model

Customer systems should integrate with the REST API and webhooks. The desktop orchestration layer exists behind the API to coordinate local execution.
